ESSAY!
Heather, Nicole, Melissa and Kaitlyn. I’m the baby of four and my mom definitely plays favorites. When it comes to it my mom sits there and criticizes all of us except for my first sister. For my second third sister and me our mom will sit and tell us what’s wrong with us and what we should do about it. But when my eldest sister comes in its always “awh you look so beautiful” or “I missed you! Have your lost weight?”
And when all the rest of us girls bring up the fact that she does it she goes ballistic! She denies it and says were cold hearted for putting the blame on her. Yet ten minutes later she’ll say “your too fat. Your too skinny. Your butt is HEEUGEEEE.” And she expects us not to bring it up with her?? I think NATT! Then my dad agrees with us and my mom just gets pissed and starts talking to herself.
All in all my moms a ween when it comes to us girls and she definitely like heather more. But she denies it and says “I love all you girls equally.” *fingers crossed*

With her three kids all enrolled and attending school Mrs. Seaman helped them with homework, solved their problems, and also answered their questions. Mrs. Seaman decided on her new profession; she wanted to become a teacher. But not just any teacher, Mrs. Seaman wanted to become science teacher for the glorious piper high.

With high hopes, a love for children, and learning Mrs. Seaman took the challenge of going back to school to get her degree in sciences. But even with those obstacles beat and out of the way. She needed to accomplish much, much more that were coming towards her. Mrs. Seaman needed to find a school, get a subbing job, and hopefully get a full time position as a teacher. She has now accomplished all of those goals and is now a chemistry teacher, teaching in the five-hundred building.

So if you didn’t know her now you do! This is Mrs. Seaman a caring and loving teacher, mother and friend.

Seniors interviews:
At seventeen, Stephen Ortiz, a senior at Piper High, is doing anything and everything he can to achieve his goal for a future profession. I asked him if he was planning on going to college and if so which one? Stephen replied “I don’t know if I will actually attend college, but I’m already in dual enrollment in a vocational school. Atlantic Technical Center; I’m going for classes dealing with electricity.”
I then continued to ask “While in this vocational school, what will you be going to major in?” Stephen then said that “I will be majoring in electricity. And by the time I’m done, I’ll have half of my credits for my Associates’ Degree.” Going back to the senior topic, I asked Stephen “How does it feel to be a senior, the top dog?” he then replied, “Being a senior feels good… Teachers don’t treat me like a kid anymore, and I’m ready to step out into the real world and start my life.”
Knowing that senior year is a big deal for all teens, it’s also a big deal for recruiters in the military, marines, etc. but when I asked Stephen about him ever considering the military he responded, “yes, I have and realized that it wasn’t for me. I enjoy life too much to put it on the line and in jeopardy like that.” Still with graduating as the VERY LAST single digit class you must have some good memories, right? Well, according to this young man, he did “not really” have any good memories of Piper High School. Personally, I believe that by the time this year is over, he will have some good memories.
